Convenience Just Got More Convenient
Delta Touch2O.xt Technology helps keep your bathroom clean by giving you three ways to operate your bathroom faucet: manually with the handle, with a simple touch anywhere on the spout or faucet handle, or by placing your hands near the faucet. The high-tech capacitance sensing capabilities of Touch2O.xt faucets allow the flow of water to be activated by breaking the capacitance field anywhere around the device, unlike traditional hands-free infrared sensors which require your hands be in a particular place and are sensitive to lighting conditions and clothing and skin color.

Product Reviews
SLICK, EASY TO INSTALL
The faucet is very slick looking; it really dressed up the pedestal sink. The on/off touch and proximity sensor are super cool. Be sure to warn people, or not, that the faucet turns on when you approach it. It really startled the cleaning lady. My only complaint is the faucet stays on a little longer than it needs to after you move away from it (i.e., finish washing your hands). If there is a way to shorten that time, I couldn't find it.
VERY NICE PRODUCT.
We purchased this faucet as a replacement. The no touch technology is awesome and is really great for the grandkids since they do not need to touch anything when they wash their hands. They can simply waive their hand under the faucet -- it automatically turns off when they are drying their hands. It was a little tricky at first to get the hang of it but now it is second nature.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I turn the faucet off and on?
You may choose to operate the faucet as you would any standard single-handle faucet by moving handle to the on and off positions. You may also tap it on and off with a deliberate touch, like that of playing the piano, or utilize hands-free activation by placing your hands within 4 inches on the faucet.

Does the faucet need to be plugged in to an outlet?
No. Touch2O® and Touch2O.xt™ Technology faucets are powered by batteries, which are included in the box. An optional A/C adapter (EP73954) is available for purchase should you want to connect the faucet to a grounded, 3 prong electrical outlet.

Are there any safety concerns for my family and I, mixing water with electronics?
Delta® faucets featuring Touch2O.xt™ Technology use the same touch sensing technology commonly found in smart phones today. The system operates on 6 AA or 6 C batteries, which uses a low DC voltage. The optional A/C adapter (EP73954) electrically isolates the faucet from the household electrical wiring.

Will I need an electrician or plumber to install a faucet or soap dispenser featuring Touch2O.xt products?
No. The installation process is just like installing a regular faucet with a few additional components. The faucet ships with 6 AA batteries and can be powered with 6 C batteries if you do not have a grounded outlet. An A/C adapter (EP73954) is available for purchase should you want to connect the faucet to a grounded, 3 prong electrical outlet. With Delta® DIAMOND™ Seal Technology, the integrated supply means everything you need is included in the box.

If the faucet is left running or activated by my child or pet, will it stop automatically?
Should your Delta® Touch2O.xt Technology faucet be activated accidentally, the faucet has an automatic shut-off feature that will stop the flow of water after two minutes of no activity.

How does the hands-free activation work?
A 4” sensing field around the faucet allows the entire faucet to act as a sensor for easy activation. Touch2O.xt™ does not use an infrared sensor window, eliminating the need for a faucet dance.
